Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose & Scope

MultiLinkQR is provided by VishalKumar Patel (proprietor) to enable businesses, creators, and individuals to create reliable, high-performance dynamic and static QR codes. Because QR codes are physically printed and scanned by mobile device cameras, preventing fraud, abuse, and deceptive practices is paramount to our service.

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines prohibited activities and applies to all users, accounts, and QR code destinations created on MultiLinkQR.

2. Strictly Prohibited Uses

You may NEVER use MultiLinkQR for any of the following:

Phishing, Social Engineering & UPI Frauds

Impersonating banks (SBI, HDFC, ICICI, etc.), payment apps (Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay), government portals, or businesses to harvest credentials, PINs, passwords, or OTPs. MultiLinkQR strictly warns against requesting UPI PINs to receive money.

Malware, Spyware & Exploits

Distributing malicious software, ransomware, drive-by download exploits, or executables disguised as legitimate media or documents.

Illegal Goods, Narcotics & Firearms

Facilitating transactions for illicit substances, controlled drugs, weapons, or unlicensed financial schemes prohibited under Indian and international laws.

Deceptive Redirects & Cloaking

Using dynamic destination updates to switch legitimate QR landing pages to scam, affiliate spam, or phishing sites after physical materials have been printed and distributed.

Adult & Sexually Explicit Content

Distributing pornography, sexually explicit material, or non-consensual imagery.

Intellectual Property Infringement

Violating registered trademarks, copyrights, or patents of third parties without explicit authorization.

3. Enforcement & Consequences

We employ automated security scanning (Google Web Risk, heuristic fraud filters, rate limiters) and active human moderation to detect policy violations.

In the event of an AUP violation, we take immediate action:

  • Instant Kill-Switch: The offending QR code is deactivated within seconds across all Cloudflare edge PoPs, serving an automated security warning page to scanners.
  • Account Termination: Malicious accounts are permanently disabled, with no refunds provided for fees paid.
  • Blocklist Inscription: Offender email addresses, domains, IP hashes, and payment fingerprints are permanently blacklisted from creating future accounts.
  • Law Enforcement Referral: In cases of cyber fraud or phishing, we cooperate with Indian law enforcement agencies and CERT-In.

4. Reporting Abuse

If you encounter a suspicious QR code or link generated via MultiLinkQR, please report it immediately:
